The line of Easy Clean Cat Litter products arguably their flagship product line - was starting to slip in sales due to a combination of outdated packaging and increasing competition from newer, bigger competitors.
Solution
Redesign the complete line of litter products to introduce the product to an entirely new set of customers while being careful not to alienate the existing customer. Recognizing that in this market the package design itself is the primary promotional tool, we embarked on an exhaustive design process that included a comprehensive competitive analysis.
The final design understands that what people are purchasing is not cat litter; it's fresher air.
Results
Continued increase in sales from the day the new package design hit the shelf.
In fact, reception has been so positive that Easy Clean is to become the umbrella brand for all of their bedding products as well. We're working on that now, and will keep you posted.
